The client had a great house with great neighbors. The kitchen and family room were too small. They hated staining the cedar siding and baking in the sun on their deck. They also needed a guest bedroom and bath.
We added a 14′ x 24′ addition with a walk out basement. Upstairs was an extension of the living room doubling it’s size. We then expanded the kitchen into the old living room giving the clients the features they desired in the kitchen. In the basement we added a bedroom and bath. On the exterior we added a 14′ x 24′ covered porch with maintenance free decking and rail, cathedral and cedar ceiling, exterior sound and mood lighting.
To complete the project we replaced a rotted master bedroom deck, entry deck, installed stucco siding, painted the roof overhangs and upgraded the furnace and insulation of the entire home.
